Map by Ensign, Bridgman & Fanning, engraved by W.C. Barnard, NY. Dated 1859. Includes its original cloth covered folio, inset to upper left corner. Professionally matted and framed in archival materials, measures 46 x 48.5 inches overall. Great map of the country's railroads from just before the Civil War.

Two quarter-sized ink spots, writing on reverse bleeds through in one area, minor toning along fold lines, no tears or repairs visible. Not examined outside of frame.
