After George Caleb Bingham (American, 1811-1879), 'The Jolly Flatboatmen,' mezzotint engraving with roulette by T. Doney, 1846, printed by Powell and Company, published by American Art Union, New York, later reprinted 1860 without the Art Union title. Bingham had originally titled this work 'Dance on the Flat Boat.' 22-5/8 x 26-3/4 inch sheet, 27 x 31 inches overall.

A good example with professional restoration to a tear in the upper margin just to the right of center, full margins all around including the American Art Union seal below, clean, very fine overall, no tears, stains or foxing, not laid down. Additional images and condition report are available.
