19th century, incredible attention to detail with flame cherry woods, box wood and book-matched Burlwood inlays in floral and medallion motif, interior with black felt lined lap desk, with hinged brass support turning the desk into a book stand, hinged storage compartment with antique landscape engravings adhered to board, exterior sides with handles, one handle pulls out to reveal hidden storage compartment with divided interior.
