Lucy Spencer earned her BFA from the University of Georgia and her MFA from UNC-Greensboro. Her medium is oils, and she has shown widely in North Carolina since 1975, as well as up and down the East Coast. Her work is in many private and corporate collections, including R. J. Reynolds, Duke University, and the Weatherspoon Gallery.
