oil on canvas, signed and inscribed on the verso "M. A. Eastlake / Hollywood / Duppas Hill / Croydon / Surrey," presented in an attractive gilt composition frame.
SS 29 x 24 in.


Mary Alexandra Eastlake studied in Montreal with Robert Harris; in New York at the Art Students League with William Chase; and at the Académie Colarossi in Paris. She traveled extensively and settled in St. Ives, England after marrying fellow artist Charles H. Eastlake.
