Measures: .80" Diameter. Metal: Sterling Silver Frame. This coin, a billon denier, was issued in the 12th century in the Principality of Achaea, in present day Greece. This coin was the type of currency used to pay the troops during the crusades to establish Christian control of the Holy Lands. The coin is set in a handcrafted sterling silver frame. A great piece of early Christian history. Comes with descriptive brochure and Certificate of Authenticity.
