JAPANESE SILVER COIN FROM THE AGE OF SAMURAI WARR

Lot Passed

Measures: Frame Measures .75" Tall x .50" Wide. Metal: Frame is 14kt Yellow Gold. This pendant features a Japanese silver Isshu Gin in the 1 shu value issued between 1853-1865 during the era of samurai soldiers and warlords. This coin could not be exported, and anyone smuggling one out of the country could be beheaded. Own a piece of 150 year old Japanese history, set in a 14kt gold frame which is about one inch tall including the bail. This coin has beautiful natural patina with bold contrasts in the design. This is a great coin for someone looking for a little smaller Japanese Samurai era coin. Pendant includes Certificate of Authenticity and descriptive brochure.
