Elegant hand painted Russian lacquer jewelry box depicting townspeople and birds by artist Nickolay Zotov completed in papier-mache with gold leaf and mother of pearl. Includes plaque display tray. Measures 8 1/4" height x 5 3/4" width x 2 3/8" height (24.1cm x 16.5cm x 6cm). Total weight of 284 grams. Zotov was featured in Antique Trader magazine January 26th, 2011.
