Henri De Toulouse Lautrec 1954 Lithograph Titled "Theatre Antoine La Gitane De Richepin". This Powerful Art Nouveau Lithograph Is A Lautrec Advertising Poster. This Was Produced For The Theatrical Production 'La Gitane' (The Gypsy), By Jean Richepin, At The Antoine Theatre.  With A Story Line Similar To Bizet's Carmen, With A Melodramatic Twist, The Play Was Never Published And Is Now Lost. The Poster Is Therefor The Only Tangible Reminder Of The Plays' Existence.  Featuring The Ravishing Actress Martha Mellot, Lautrec's Composition Captures The Sinister Inter—Action In Bold Silhouette Suggesting Harsh Theatrical Lighting And Back Alley Darkness, Heavily Influenced By Japanese Prints.  Published In 1954 By Penn Prints New York.
