This is a hand signed lithograph by Carlos Nadal titled "PUERTO DE ROTHERDAM" This piece is hand signed by the artist. This is from a limited edition of 20 artist proofs. Paper measures: 24 1/2" x 30". Image measures: 22" x 27 1/2". Printed on guarro paper. Comes with a certificate of authenticity. Bright and fresh with rich colors; never mounted, matted or framed. In mint condition, no tears stains or creases. Carlos Nadal was born in Paris in 1917 to Catalonian parents who moved back to Barcelona in 1922. He started his artistic education at the School of Fine Arts in Barcelona. In 1945 he moved to Paris where he exhibited his paintings in many galleries, and came to know Pablo Picasso. Later on Nadal moved to Brussels. His first one-man show was held in the Barcelonan gallery ‘La Pinacoteca’ in 1944. He widely exhibited in Spain, Belgium and France where he received many scholarships and awards, among others ‘Grand Premio de Spa’ in Belgium. He also become a member of The Royal Academy in London. His artworks are widely influenced by French Neo-Impressionism and Fauvist Raoul Duffy.
