Medium: Embellished Giclee On Canvas. Canvas Size: 40" X 30". Includes Certificate Of Authenticity. Unframed. Mint Condition. Magnificent Colors. Pino, Born Guiseppe D'angelico In Bari, Italy On November 8, 1939, Became One Of The Foremost Book Cover Illustrators (Over 1600) In The United States Before Establishing A Reputation As A Fine-Art Figure And Landscape Painter. In 1960 He Entered Milan's Academy Of Brera Where He Perfected His Talent For Painting Nudes. In The Two Years He Studied At The Academy, He Came Under The Influence Of The Pre-Raphaelites And Macchiaioli. After Establishing Himself As A Successful Artist In His Native Land, Pino Decided To Emigrate To The United States, Where He Felt He Would Have More Artistic Freedom And Opportunity. He Was Soon Discovered By The Distinguished Borghi Gallery, Which Gave Several Prestigious Exhibitions For Him In New York And Boston. His Early Paintings Featured Soft Romantic Characters, Mostly Women Dressed In Flowing Skirts And Dresses; And These Caught The Attention Of Book Publishers Who Have Used His Work For Romantic Book Covers For Artists Such As Danielle Steele
