Measures: .80" Diameter. Metal: 14kt Gold Frame. Flavius Crispus was the first born son of Constantine 1 and Minervina. He was Caesar of the Roman Empire. He had the reputation as an excellent soldier as he helped defeat the Franks and secure the areas of Gaul and Germania. Constantine honored his son by depicting his face on imperial coins and statues. Bronze follis is from the era of 320 A.D. The profile of Crispus has a wreath around his head. Set in a 14kt gold mounting, this is a beautiful example of an early Roman bronze coin. Includes descriptive brochure and Certificate of Authenticity.
