Gemstone: South Sea Pearl. Length: 18". Measures: 11.0mm - 14.3mm Round Pearls. Metal: 14kt White Gold Clasp with Diamonds. Matched strand of 33 round South Sea pearls in graduated diameters of 11 to 14.3mm. South Sea pearls are cultured in Australia and Tahiti in the Pinctada maxima pearl oyster, the only oyster on earth that can produce such large, exquisite pearls. These pearls were grown and harvested by the Paspaley Pearling Company of Darwin, Australia. Paspaley is the most respected pearl company in Australia and their pearls are considered the gold standard of quality for the extremely rare South Sea pearls. This necklace is accompanied by the Paspaley Certificate of Assurance that these pearls have not been dyed, bleached, or treated in any way. Pearls are hand knotted on silk with a 14kt white gold clasp accented with diamonds. One of a kind necklace is an excellent investment if you are considering rare South Sea pearls.
