Diameter: 1.05". Diamonds: .03 Carat. Metal: Sterling Silver Handcrafted Border. The Lima mint, as far as cobs are concerned, was sporadic, and as a result we do not see as many cobs as from other Spanish mints. Between 1577 and 1589 this shield-type design was produced by assayer Diego de la Torre, whose work was exceptional, making these Lima cobs some of the most highly sought of all silver cob issues. Set in a handcrafted sterling design, coin accented with a diamond. Black fashion cord necklace. Comes with a descriptive brochure and Certificate of Authenticity.
