Meteorite in Pivoting Frame

Chain: 18" 5 Strand, Adjustable to 20". Measures: 1.1" Diameter. Metal: Stainless Steel. First discovered in Namibia, Africa in 1836, the Gibeon meteorites come from broken asteroid fragments. Dating studies have placed the age at around 4 billion years old. It is difficult to acquire new Gibeon meteorites because exports from Namibia are now illegal. Contemporary stainless steel pendant is 1.1" in diameter. It features a 8mm round highly polished ball of Gibeon meteorite in an interior frame that will pivot 360 degrees in the exterior frame. Pendant is on a 18" custom designed 5 strand cord necklace that can be extended by 2" with its adjustable chain clasp. Comes with descriptive card about world meteorite.
