SPANISH PIECE OF 8 FROM A FLORIDA SHIPWRECK

Chain: Handcrafted 20" Sterling Silver Necklace. Diamonds: .30 Carats. Full Cut Measures: 2" Tall x 1.5" Wide. Metal: 14kt Handcrafted Border. Recovered from the famous 1715 wreck off the east coast of Florida, this Spanish 8 reale coin was minted under the reign of Charles II. The front of the coin features a well-defined cross. The coin had a natural bubble hole in the silver planchet when it was originally cut to shape. A master jeweler crafted a 14kt yellow gold insert in this hole with six round full cut diamonds. The coin is mounted in a 14kt gold handcrafted frame. This unique shipwreck piece of 8 pendant measures 2" tall by 1.5" wide. Pendant comes complete with a handmade sterling silver necklace. Includes a Certificate of Authenticity and descriptive brochure.
