JOSEF ALBERS color offset lithograph printed single sided on matte finish stock by "Blair Litho" in Los Angeles in 1967 for a loose print portfolio intended to promote Albers White Line Square series; The White Line Square lithographs were printed in an edition of 125 signed and numbered copies and each litho measured 20 3/4" x 20 3/4"; the offset litho offered here measures 7.5" x 7.5" inches and was part of a very scarce promotional portfolio published in 1967 in which the lithos were printed in offset in a smaller scale, unsigned and unnumbered, unframed
