Outstanding floor clock with green onyx, red marble, bronze and champlevé. Enamelwork on the dial, bordering the face and trimmed on the stepped crown with repeated trim below the dial. The sun face pendulum is protected by a bronze trimmed beveled glass removable panel. Red marble base on four flat bronze feet with bronze trim flanking a colorful champlevé plaque. The works are marked "Vincenti & Cie, 1855" and "Brevete, GIT, SDGD". The side access doors to the works, are hinged round champlevé panels. Strikes on the hour, 19 1/4" x 14 1/4" x 60" high. One front corner of the bronze work is slightly bent with some loss to the enameling. Small chips in the red marble. 1880 - 1900
