This portrait is based on the original painting by James Otto Lewis at the Fond du lac council of 1826 that was destroyed by fire. This version was copied by Charles Bird King. The engraving was published by Rice and Rutter, printed and colored by J.T. Bowen in 1854. Acid-free hinging and matting shows full margins. Frame size is 16" x 20".
