Large Chinese hand painted Qing Dynasty style enameled porcelain charger depicting General Guan Yu holding the Green Dragon Crescent Blade guan dao. Around him is servants, sages and warriors paying homage and presenting offerings. Lotus blossom and fan design to borders. Vividly enameled throughout. Enameled lotus blossoms to verso. Scalloped rim. Holds Kangxi (1662-1722) six caracter calligraphy reign marks to bottom. Made 20th century. Includes teakwood display stand. Measures 17 1/4" diameter 2 1/2" height (43.8cm x 6.4cm). Total weight of 4057 grams.
