The turned ebony handle with well-detailed brass ferrule, the straight, double-edged blade with central ridge swelling toward the tip, and struck J. CRANE at the forte on either side.Second half of the 19th century. Wear to grip, blade with sharpening marks. Overall length 31.2 cm. Condition III
