A large example, probably Maduran with well-carved antler grip depicting a Rakshasa demon, the mendak set with a colored stone, the multi-waved blade forged of actively-patterned damascus steel with a fine, fully-modeled naga head at the forte. In its wooden scabbard. Stones lacking from mendak, scabbard tip lacking. Second half of the 19th century.Overall length 54.1 cm. Condition II
