A massive example with finely-profiled grip to the obverse and horn to the reverse, and gold-inlaid iron mounts. The long, broad, double-edged blade with symmetrical fullers to either side, struck at the forte with double gilded maker's marks. The wooden scabbard with en suite gold-inlaid iron suspension band.Mid-19th century. Pommel slightly chipped. Overall length 64.3 cm. Condition II
