The brass hilt with pierced guard and leather-covered grip with twisted brass wire wrap. The curved, single-edged blade with deep central fuller, forged of finely-patterned damascus steel, blued and gilt for the first quarter of its length with garlands and stands of arms and struck at the left forte, F 24. Beginning of the 19th century. Some raveling to grip wires. Overall length 91.9 cm. Condition I
