The broad, curved, single-edged blade with pronounced back edge, forged of pattern welded damascus steel and struck with a maker’s mark at the right forte. In its leather-covered wooden scabbard.Mid-18th century. Scabbard a modern replacement. Overall length 83 cm. Condition II
