A superior example of classic form, stocked entirely in silver with typical large, bud-shaped butt. Exceptionally well-cast, embossed and deeply chased throughout with characteristic rococco motifs within geometrical borders. Mounted with a profiled and engraved miguelet lock and curled trigger, the octagonal barrel retained by a large embossed and chased forearm cap. First quarter of the 19th century.Overall length 52.9 cm. Condition I
