Forged entirely of steel, the hilt with oval guard with scalloped edge and bud-shaped quillons, the baluster grip with recurved leaf-shaped pommel with bud finial. With well-forged, lightly recurved double-edged blade. Early 17th century. Hilt patinated, blade pitted. Overall length 35.4 cm. Condition III
