Wrought entirely of silver and finely engraved and nielloed overall. The grip formed as a saber hilt with the pommel a fully-modeled hunting hound’s head with teeth bared. The multi-fullered blade with bowie-style clipped tip. In its silver scabbard decorated en suite with the hilt, the finial in the form of a stork’s head. Last quarter of the 19th century.Overall length 27.7 cm. Condition I
