Inlaid overall in delicate panels of flowering silver and gold vinework, the camail covering the brow and falling in three points at the nape.The steel shield with four bosses and scalloped rim, the entire surface inlaid in silver and gold en suite with the helmet.Mid- 19th century.Diameter of shield 37.6 cm. Condition I
