Forged entirely of steel, the hilt formed as a pair of entwined mythological beasts, each with a serpent’s body terminating in a pair of well-defined tiger’s heads. The fine, recurved double-edged blade forged of actively-grained wootz damascus steel, with raised central ridge, chamfered edges and armor-piercing tip. Latter 16th century.Minor areas of pitting to blade.Overall length 32.8 cm. Condition II
