Retaining the general form of its bronze predecessor, the tapered socket with faceting and expanded rim. The head forged with 16 discrete flanges, supported by a band of profiled spurs. 14th century. Brown patina overall. From the Arthur M. Sackler Collection, via the Sackler Foundation, acquired c. 1940, deaccessioned 1988-89. Overall length 10.5 cm. Condition III
