The wooden hilt of characteristic form with bifurcate pommel and broad crossguard with iron guard; the pommel, carved overall and set with large brass discs, retains its original hair tufts, the grip with four woven rattan bands. The handforged single-edged blade expanding toward the profiled, spurred and pierced tip shows laminar construction. Late 19th century. Light wear. Overall length 99.4 cm. Condition II
