A rare form which was extremely popular throughout the Ottoman Empire, the walnut stock with baroque butt and chequered wrist. The French-style lock engraved with a crescent moon, the heavy barrel with flared muzzle, lavishly inlaid with heavy silver vinework overall. Late 18th –early 19th century.Minor wear.Overall length 48.1 cm. Condition II
