The wooden grip with rattan wrap to base and pommel, the stout, single-edged blade expanding toward the tip. In its carved wooden scabbard with rattan bindings, the broad belt embellished with numerous applied cowrie shells and beaded tassels, with original braided closure intact. Late 19th-early 20th century. Minor losses, light wear overall. Overall length 70.5 cm. Condition II
