Maguindanao work, the elaborate junggayan hilt typically carried by a datu or noble, with kakatua-form pommel and gilded copper mounts in alternating bands of okir engraving and filigree. The substantial nine-waved blade is of Lanti form, retained by a copper baca-baca. In its wooden scabbard with silvered, okir-engraved mounts.Mid-20th century. The blade oxidized.
