Endemic to the Murut peoples, the carved wooden hilt with characteristic bifurcate pommel and lengthy ferrule terminating in a small, circular guard. The long, curved blade of flattened wedge section with profiled tip, likely an heirloom Persian or Indian one.First half off the 19th century. Light wear, blade patinated. Overall length 72.2 cm. Condition II
