The robust bronze gauntlet with molded border and central rib to cuff, engraved with a lengthy inscription, probably Mughal. The broad, doubled edged blade with length seating processes. Late 17th century. Grip lacking, blade patinated, with period repair. Overall length 114.2 cm. Condition III
