Characteristic of Kerala workmanship, the hilt with hooked pommel and prominent step, composed of studded antler and horn and profiled brass and steel. The broad, T-backed blade tapering continuously to the tip, lightly recurved and inlaid in silver and brass at the forte on either side. In its red and green velvet-covered scabbard with engraved silver tip. Late 18th –early 19th century. Light wear. Overall length 28.7 cm. Condition I
