Mackey M.D.; The Masonic History Company, 1925; Salesman Sample of the 2 Volume Set; book is bound in cloth cover boards with gold endpapers; inside pages are comprised of pages from Volumes I and II and includes a number of bookplates, etchings and the like; includes a full color portrait of the author after the title page and first few pages; all pages are out of order, to be shown as a sample of how parts of the completed book would read; also includes the test cover boards at the back of the book; shows the Brown Fabrikoid boards with gilt edges and design on spine and gilt emblematic designs on back and sides; absolutely outstanding never before seen piece!
