Herbert Hoover Signed Post Office Appointment Document dated March 23rd, 1928; measures approx 18" x 13-1/2"; partially manuscript civil appointment of Howard E. Foster to Postmaster of Chagrin Falls, Ohio signed by Hoover and Postmaster General, Walter F. Brown; Post Office Department raised seal in lower left corner; printed on a heavier cardstock; outstanding early document signed by the 31st President of the United States; does have a some staining on the top of the document, but does not affect Hoover's signature; ready for framing.
