J. Edgar Hoover Signed Letter dated January 22-1948; letter to a Mrs. Clarence J. Koterba from the FBI in Cleveland. Letter states: 'Dear Mrs. Koterba, I was pleased to learn of the arrival of your little son, Alan James, and I hasten to extend to you and Mr. Koterba my hearty congratulations on your good fortune. I know that the baby will brighten both of your lives, and it is my sincere wish that happiness and good health will be with him always. Sincerely, J. Edgar Hoover; letter written on FBI Letterhead with Office of the Director and seal in the upper left corner; letter was part of a scrapbook at one time and scrapbook page is mounted to the back of the letter, an outstanding piece.
