19TH CENTURY MANSON SHEFFIELD BOWIE KNIFE

19th Century "Bowie" side knife, made by Manson of Sheffield. Double edge spear point blade, measuring just under 6 1/2 inches. Acid etched "NEVER DRAW ME WITHOUT REASON / NOR SHEATH ME WITHOUT HONOUR". Nickel silver repousse handle, with oval guard. Maker marked ricasso. Leather over paperboard scabbard, with nickel silver throat, chape, and frog rivet. Overall very good condition.
