Allen & Wheelock revolving pepperbox pistol. 3 3/8" barrels, .31 caliber percussion. Cylinder marked "ALLEN & WHEELOCK / WORCHESTER / PATENTED APRIL 15", and hammer is marked "ALLEN'S PATENT 1845". Spotty light grey patina on metal surfaces, with evidence of cleaning. Wood grips are in very good condition. Strong trigger and hammer, appears to be mechanically functional. Caliber: .31 Serial #: None
