Description

Colt New Line Pocket .38 caliber revolver manufactured in 1875. 3 1/2 inch barrel, with British proof marks on outside of fluted cylinder between each chamber. Serial number 4047 on barrel under muzzle, and under left grip. Two line Colt address in top of barrel. Acid etched "COLT NEW 38" on left of barrel, "38 CAL" and "C" marked on left side of frame below cylinder. Original nickel plated finish is about 85%, and original wood grips show mild wear to finish, but no other detractions. Bore is in very good condition for the age, with minimal imperfections.
