62-61 BC, Paphos mint. Obv: diademed head of Ptolemy I right wearing aegis. Rev: BASILEWS PTOLEMAIOY legend with eagle standing left on thunderbolt, wings closed, date LK to left (year 2?) and mint mark PA to right. Cf Sear 7945ff (date"); Svoronos 1867 (Cleopatra VIi); BMC 39-40 (Ptolemy Xi). 14.09 grams. The daughter of Ptolemy XII, the famous Cleopatra VII, was the last Ptolemaic ruler of Egypt. [No Reserve]
