Circa 1820. Uniface copper token. Inscribed RCT GAL 1 in three lines. Mitchiner 3,-. 10.07 grams; 31 mm diameter. The Royal Coburg Theatre opened in 1818 on the corner of The Cut and Waterloo Road, near to Waterloo Railway Station. It became the Royal Victoria Hall in 1881 and is now familiarly known as The Old Vic.

Very fine, rare.
