Circa early 20th century. Comprising a silver and enamel breast star and suspension star, each depicting a white-enamelled elephant with red and green enamel surround, the suspension star with enamelled reverse; also with the original broad silk sash and contained in the original red velvet case, marked with the maker's name J. W. Benson of Old Bond Street, London. 500 grams (including case"), breast star 77 mm, case 180 by 150 mm. The Order was instituted by King Rama IV of Siam in 1861.
Condition reportThe breast star very fine; the suspension star lacking the loop and suspender.
