Friedberg 2a; Ives The Venetian Gold Ducat and its Imitations, NNM No 128, pp. 22-24. 3.38 grams. These gold coins, in the name of Andrea Dandolo and copied from the Venetian ducats of the period, may have been struck under Robert of Anjou, Duke of Achaia (1346-1364"), possibly struck at Chiarenza.
