New Kingdom, circa 1550-1070 BC A group of three restrung faience bead necklaces comprising: one of pale cream, blue, green, pink and tan disc and tubular beads; one of darker red, brown, green, tan, white and blue disc beads; one of blue-green, brown, cream, tan and green beads grouped as three discs and one tubular; modern clasps. Faience, 35 grams, 70-80 cm (27 1/2-31 1/2") From the Foxwell family collection; Mr H G and Miss E Foxwell purchased their collection from the late 1890's until the early 1920's, acquiring from the Forman collection (sold by Sotheby's in 1900") and the Mc Gregor Collection (sold by Sotheby's in 1922") and the Clements collection in 1923 and thence by descent.
