Mainly Saite Period, circa 624-525 BC A mixed group of carved glass beads comprising: two dark red cicada of Egyptian origin, three dark blue perching birds, five blue-green perching birds one with yellow and orange concentric rings to the back. Glass, 5.49 grams, 9.05-19.13 mm (1/3-3/4") Ex Brenchley collection, acquired in the early 1960's. [10, No Reserve]
